Release Detained Biafrans Or … – IPOB Threaten Southeast Govs

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Sunday called on Southeast governors to release all “Biafran youths” in detention across the region.

IPOB said failure to ensure the release of these youths, Southeast governors would face the wrath of the people of the region.

Emma Powerful, mouthpiece of the separatist group, issued the warning while condemning the arrest of innocent youths and tagging them operatives of the Eastern Security Network, ESN.

Powerful lamented over the continued killings, abductions, and destruction of properties in the Southeast.

A statement signed by Powerful reads: “We the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU wish to reiterate once again to place the world on notice over the incessant abductions, killings, arresting and burning down of properties worth billions of Naira in Biafraland by the compromised Nigeria security agents operating in Biafraland.

Release Detained Biafrans Or … – IPOB Threaten Southeast Govs

“They have continued to arrest innocent Biafrans tagging them ESN and IPOB members just to hang them while the real mass murderers – Fulani bandits are roaming freely on the streets. We strongly condemn the arrest of a lady in Obowo Imo State whom we understand is to be wedded by December this year. What wickedness to keep a lady about to wed in detention for committing no crime other than being a Biafran! Can this be done to a Fulani? Yet our political elite see no evil in this!

“We wonder if South East governors still have any modicum of shame in them? How do they pride themselves as governors when the Fulani are busy clamping their youths into cells and killing others and down properties worth billions with impunity yet they watch idly and do nothing?

“These governors should brace up for the wrath of the people if they fail to secure the immediate release of all innocent Biafrans youths illegally detained by the hypocritical NIGERIA security agencies in their States. We equally condemn several attacks in communities in Orsu, Orlu, Obowo of Imo and Ihiala LGAs in Imo and Anambra States.”

No sit-at-home in the SouthEast on 19 and 20 January – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has stated that there will be no sit-at-home in Biafra land on January 19th and 20th.

The Media and Publicity Secretary for IPOB, Comrade Emma Powerful stated this in a press release made available to Chrysora Media on Saturday.

Emma Powerful stated, however, that the entire Biafra land will be on lock down only on January 18, the day their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is billed to appear in court.

He noted that 19th January is the judgment day in the suit by Nnamdi Kanu against the Federal Government in a suit pending before an Umuahia High Court.

“So, there will be no sit-at-home on that day,” he said categorically.

Regretting the inconveniences caused by the routine lockdowns, he said:

“We don’t want to compound the pains of our people, hence, we will limit the sit-at-home to only January 18.

“Biafrans and residents of Biafra are free to go about their businesses without molestations on 19th and 20th January.

“Anybody found enforcing non-existent Monday sit-at-home on 17th, 19th and 20th is criminal and must be treated as such.

“IPOB leadership have given order and that order is signed.”

Emma Powerful urged IPOB coordinators to be careful because every principal of IPOB, mostly the coordinators, must know that it will bounce on their heads if they don’t checkmate the activities of members and call them to order.

“IPOB is not village or social club where everybody will behave untoward to people like cultists.

“It is on the table and to the knowledge of IPOB leadership how some principal officers were encouraging evils in IPOB without minding the repercussions and consequences but we want to make categorically known to them that it will come back to him or her that encouraged evil against his or her fellow human beings,” he said.

For clarity sake, he reiterated that there will be no sit-at-home on January 19th and 20th.

“Nobody is expected to interfere with either human or vehicular movements in those days under any guise.

“Any detractor or agent of darkness caught obstructing peoples activities in Biafra land on January 19th and 20th in the name of enforcing sit-at-home will regret his or her actions.

“We realise that some unscrupulous and traitors are trying to create confusion about these days and dishing false information and propaganda trying to create confusion in Biafra land.

“IPOB never declared sit-at-home on 19th and 20th of January 2022. Therefore, we want all Biafrans to go to their normal business on these days without fear.

“Anybody issuing order for sit at home on 19th and 20th of January is not a member of IPOB.

“Such persons are working against the interest of our leader and the entire struggle for independence. They should be disregarded.

“For the umpteenth time, IPOB is under one Central command and Control , and doesn’t have parallel or factional leadership.

“The Directorate of State (DOS) under the command of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is in charge of the global movement of IPOB.

“Anybody who is not loyal to DOS is an impostor and should be disregarded.

“We expect our people everywhere to adhere to this directive and refuse to be misled by sacked members of IPOB in Europe and America.

“IPOB remains unshakeable, built and rooted on the rock and will remain so until the freedom for Biafra is fully achieved,” he concluded.
