Joe Igbokwe House Destruction: Another Nigeria Government’s Strategy To Blackmail IPOB

The APC run Nigeria government is in desperate moves to precipitate anarchy across Biafraland, as measures to criminalize the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The recent destruction of Joe Ignokwe’s country home in Nnewi, Anambra State, forms part of that evil plot of blackmail. From a reliable intel, we were informed that Nigerian government in their efforts to blackmail IPOB and destroy its widely international and local reputation and also to set Igbos against IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu, the government had previously made a promise to Joe Igbokwe that if he agrees to sacrifice his building to incriminate IPOB, he will accordingly be rewarded with a more befitting edifice.

This is not the first time the Nigeria government is using this method to incriminate, destroy and killed a genuine voice. Recently in End SARS protest, when Nigerians were protesting and calling for an end to police brutality and disbandment of Criminal and notorious police department known as SARS, the government deceitfully employed this same method against these innocent end SAR protesters. Criminals were deployed by Nigeria government to infiltrated the end SAR, it is not hidden or mere accusations, the video clips are still online were government vehicles were captured on camera dropping thugs and after that, the carnage began. People were killed, properties worth billions of naira were destroyed by these government thugs.

The setting ablaze of Joe Igbokwe’s house, killing of Igbo prominent men etc was the same APC Nigeria government usual strategy to drive home its evil intent when dealing with perceived enemy. This destruction, coupled with killings, clearly portray the mad desperation of a widely rejected government of anarchy and death. It was an act invented by APC politicians who want to leverage on that mayhem, to further blackmail IPOB family members who have maintained a position that there will be no election in Anambra state If its leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not unconditionally freed. It is a well-known fact that, the only adopted strategy of IPOB is civil disobedience through persuasion, conviction and logic which has so far yielded positive results and compliance from the masses. The carnage of killings and destruction of properties was employed by Nigeria government to cause havoc and instigate Igbo Biafrans of the South-East region and the world against Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB.

UNKNOWN GUNMEN

It should be clearly understood that every single individual entrapped in current Nigeria, is completely fed up with Buhari cum APC led government, hence people are willing to support and align with even the devil against this Nigeria government. The seeming massive support the Unknown Gunmen enjoyed from the Nigerian masses emanates from the irredeemable self-imposed defeatist and frustrating policies of the Nigeria government hence, If Lucifer emerge today as a strong opposition to this Buhari Apc government, the masses will knowingly and unknowingly support him.

Just like Governor Willie Obiano rightly stated, “desperate politicians are behind the killings and burning down of properties in Anambra State”.
Let no one be deceived. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has totally no hands in what is presently happening in that state.

Saying Negative Of IPOB Will Not Prevail – Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer tackles Malami

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, lead counsel to the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has described claims by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), as false.

In a Facebook post, the lawyer noted that spreading false narratives against the IPOB leader “will fail”.

The Federal Government had blamed Kanu for the murder of Dr Chike Akunyili, the husband of a former Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, the late Prof Dora Akunyili.

The government further accused him of being responsible for the murder of a former presidential aide, Ahmad Gulak, and over 184 others in the South-East.

This is according to a committee set up by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), to investigate Kanu, who is standing trial for treasonable felony.

The 24-member comprised members from the Federal Ministry of Justice, the Federal Ministry of Information, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, the National Intelligence Agency and the Defence Intelligence Agency.

The committee, headed by Malami, said consequent upon the instigating directives of Kanu, members of IPOB and the Eastern Security Network carried out massive attacks on democratic institutions, especially facilities of the Independent National Electoral Commission to hamper democratic process in Nigeria.

It said the attacks, carried out between October 2020 and June 2021, led to the killing of 175 security agents.

But Ejiofor said the legal team were prepared to prove all the allegations wrong.

“I may not wish to dignify their trending falsehood by directly responding to it but it is a bad strategy, already dead on arrival. We saw it coming!

“After a robust outing of 21st October, and strong objection raised to the empty charge, the narratives changed.
Note that the media has been awashed with this false narrative right from the very first day our client was extraordinarily renditioned to Nigeria, even before the amended seven charges were filed twice.

“Their seven counts were amended twice upon being served with our Preliminary Objection. Remember that the facts they substantially relied upon in their purported amended charge, dwelt much on this speculation as you saw in their press statement.

“In all, I implore you all to remain calm, peaceful and focused, your eyes should always be on the ball, because we will demystify them only in law court. They cannot place something on nothing and expect it to stand, it must fail woefully!

“We believe in the ability of this honourable court to do justice to all manner of men, and that justice must not only be done in our case but SHALL manifestly be seen to have been done.

“Ignore their media propaganda, please, because Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has not committed any offence known to law. He is a POLITICAL PRISONER, and SHALL be out soon,Our formidable legal team will leave no stone unturned to see it happen soon.”

Kanu’s Counsel Says Kanu’s Detention Violates International Law, To Petition UN

Counsel to Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indeginous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Bruce Fien, said yesterday that the continued detention of the IPOB leader remained illegal, because it violated international law.

Fien, however, said he had gathered additional information from yesterday’s proceedings to be added to his petition already before the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Speaking with Arise News, Kanu’s expatriate counsel, who said the 11th hour change of the charges preferred against him, without allowing him to respond, was unconstitutional, also took a swipe at the decision to bar journalists from the proceedings, saying it was a violation of their constitutional rights.

Condemning Kanu’s abduction from Kenya without trial, he said, “There are irregularities here. I am coming from the United States, there’s no way that government could change the charge at the 11th hour without having an opportunity to respond to the new allegations.

“Before I arrived in Abuja, I traveled to Geneva, Switzerland, where there is a working group on arbitrary detention as part of the UN Human Rights Council, and based upon what transpired today, I have additional information that I will present to them, seeking an adjudication that the detention of Nnamdi Kanu is illegal under international law.”

He further stated that, “The Nigerian Constitution also has free speech provisions in section 39. I think what happened today is a violation of section 39.”

On the decision to bar journalists from covering the proceedings, he said it was a breach of their constitutional rights.

“The media has a right to observe. Moreover, under international law and in the United States, there is a constitutional right for journalists to attend, because it creates a kind of pressure putting a searchlight against corruption or intimidation and things of that sort, not only just the press out there every ordinary citizen has the right as long as there’s room to sit in a courtroom,” he said.

Reiterating his condemnation of Kanu’s abduction from Kenya by security agents without trial, he said the situation was against international law.

“That makes the detention illegal, in part, aside from other violations, but surely under any kind of due process, it’s totally illegal to kidnap someone take them without any hearing.

“They said that they had acted in collusion with the Interpol, what they haven’t said is that there was any hearing that enabled Nnamdi Kanu to dispute and you have to bring it before a judge before you are kidnapped not afterwards. The law is very clear on that score.

“He was not given any hearing before they took him there, indeed four of the seven counts that are now lodged against him. They weren’t even launched until after he had departed Kenya and was in Nigeria,” he said.
