Governor Abdullahi Sule, of Nasarawa State, has commiserated with the authority of Nasarawa State College of Agriculture, Lafia (COAL), over the recent fire inferno that raised down two blocks of lecture halls.
It will be recalled that two blocks of four lecture halls at COAL, was gutted by fire, last Saturday evening.
The Governor who described the inferno as unfortunate, called on the management of the institution to take precautionary measure to avoid reoccurance of such ugly disaster.
Earlier, the Provost of the college, Dr. Musa Yahaya Maikeffi, confirmed the incidence to the governor saying the fire outbreak was causeed by bush burning.
Dr. Maikeffi who described the incident as a huge setback to the school, disclosed that the fire destroyed forest museum and fisheries belonging the Faculty of Agriculture, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
He commended the men of the state fire service for their prompt response to contend the fire out brake.
LEADERSHIP reports that fire completely razed the buildings including all the furniture in the lecture halls, but no life was lost.
