Gov Election 2023: Sanwo-olu Wins Tinubu Polling Unit Amid Low Turnout
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress and incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, won the polling unit of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The APC candidate polled 43 votes, his closest contender, the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, had five votes, while the National Rescue Movement had one vote.
Meanwhile, there was low turnout of voters at the PU as 50 people voted out of 324 registered voters. Continue reading
