Engaging Able Bodied Youths In Boxing To Fight Insecurity (Photos,Video)
The Rising lions in Boxing from various community in the 17 LGA of Enugu State has gathered in coal city for projection of good image of this administration (Enugu State) through the field of sports boxing in particular for preparation of National Sports Festival.
This team of abled bodied youth is made up of students from Enugu State, Abia State, Imo state, Anambra State, Ebonyi State and other tribes living in Enugu State that was discovered through the on-going grass root boxing talent hunt being conducted by Ex international Boxer Mazi comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo.
The engagement of these able bodied youths in boxing activity is to fight insecurity as hungry youth may turn out to be angry youths.
Governor Ifeanyi uUgwuanyi, Speaker Enugu State house of Assembly, Algon Enugu state chapter are our partners in this human capacity building project which will help to reduce crime.
From Grassroot boxing to youths empowerment. There is hope for better day.
