Anambra Traffic Management Officers accused of extorting people in Onitsha

Attention!
We got complaints that some officials of Anambra State Anambra state Road Traffic Management Agency. ARTMA extorting people at many roads in ONITSHA.
The officials who are extorting money are doing so especially on roads that have been converted as as one way and some of the new converted one way traffic roads have no signs.
We got in touch with the ARTMA General Manager, Hon Emeka Konti Komplete Okonkwo over this complaints and here is his reply;
“Whoever is apprehended where there are no road signs should call our numbers ( written on all vests)
I personally answer the calls for now.”
Pls if you are extorted or apprehended on any new one way road that has no signs, reach out to the leadership of ARTMA and you will a quick response.
