2023: APC started losing from the moment they made Tinubu presidential candidate
APC had the opportunity to produce a quality candidate who can stand shoulder to shoulder with any candidate from any other political party for the 2023 general election but because they still hold tight to premordial political culture where the party flag is sold to the highest bidder hence the emergence of Ahmed Bola Tinubu | Eagle Media TV Nigeria
Had Apc settled for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo or the former Minister of Transportation Rt Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Ameachi I believe they would have given the labour party candidate a run for his money.
But, as the the saying goes ” He whom the gods wants to destroy he first strikes mad” and “an idea whose time has come can not be stopped.
I think the time for a people’s oriented leader to emerge has come, the time for a Nigerian leader, elected by Nigerians who will work for Nigerians has come, a leader who has compassion towards his own people (Nigerians) a leader who will not let any section of the country appear preponderant over the other, a leader we will vote not because he’s Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba but because he’s competent and well qualified for the job, reasons things are seemingly going the way of the Obidient movement.
To whom it may concern ! The political culture of Nigerians has changed from Parochial to Participant or active if you like, the consciousness/ political awareness has improved that the people no longer care about where their leaders come from or their religious affiliation. All they want and care about is who can deliver the dividends of democracy and bring them out of penury.
This time around Nigerians are not voting religion, they are not voting Tribe neither are they voting for 💰. All they want is a leader that can make the country work for all. After all, be you Christian or Muslim, be you North or South we all go to the same market and buy things at the same price because HUNGER NO SABI TRIBE NOR RELIGION. Nigerians therefore will vote only a competent leader into power come 2023.
